The 3rd Annual Conference of the African Association of Accountants General (AAAG) will take place in Ghana. The conference, the largest gathering of Public Sector Finance professionals in Africa, is jointly organised by the Secretariat of AAAG in partnership with the office of the Controller and Accountant-General (CAG), Republic of Ghana.
The Conference will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre from November 24 to November 28, 2025. An exhibition will run alongside the conference showcasing innovations in financial technology, AI, public service delivery, digital solutions for governments and many more.
The theme: “Africa of Tomorrow: Positioning Public Finance Management (PFM) for Economic Prosperity” highlights the need to reform PFM systems to respond to current and future challenges by leveraging innovation, artificial intelligence, digitalization, climate-responsive budgeting and sound fiscal governance. By embracing these reforms, African governments can build resilience, boost public trust, and unlock the continent’s vast economic potential.

The 2025 AAAG Annual Conference promises engaging plenaries, in-depth technical sessions and powerful networking opportunities for those driving PFM reforms in Africa.
The flagship event will bring together more than 2,000 public finance experts and professionals, senior government officials, development partners, innovators, thought leaders and venture capitalists from across the continent and beyond to discuss how robust PFM Systems can accelerate Africa’s sustainable development.
