Kumah-Abrefa C.K. is a fifty-eight (58) year old Regional Director of the Ahafo Region with twenty nine (29) years of experience with the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.

Kumah-Abrefa is an energetic, ambitious leader with excellent problem solving skills. He is creative and has over the years developed the skills of progressively working with others to achieve results.

He is married with five children. His hobbies are farming, travelling and sightseeing.

Educational Background

Kumah-Abrefa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Business Administration and Level Two of Institute of Charted Accountants – Ghana.

He acquired a lot of leadership skills through workshops, trainings, seminars and meetings organized by the CAGD which ultimately sprung him to this point of his career.

Professional Background

Kumah-Abrefa joined the CAGD in 1992 and has served as Finance Officer in at least 10 Municipal Assemblies in the former Brong Ahafo Region.

During his time as a Finance Officer and subsequently a Deputy Regional Director for the Brong Ahafo Region, Kumah-Abrefa improved the revenue performance of Techiman, Sunyani, Dormaa, Berekum, Goaso and other Municipal Assemblies.
