First Female Controller and Accountant-General Appointed
History has been made by the appointment of Madam Grace Francisca Adzroe as the Acting Controller and Accountant –General (CAG). She took over from Mr. Raphael Kwasi Tufuor whose tenure of office ended on March 31, 2013. By this appointment, she becomes the first female to be appointed as the Controller and Accountant-General of the Republic of Ghana.
She assumed duty on Tuesday April 2, 2013. Prior to her appointment, Madam Grace Adzroe was the Deputy Controller and Accountant General in charge of Finance and Administration.
Mr. Raphael Tufour ends Tenure
Mr. Raphael Kwasi Tufuor has successfully ended his current tenure of office as the Controller and Accountant-General of the Republic of Ghana, which spanned from 2009 to 2013.
That was the second time he had occurred the position of Controller and Accountant-General of the Republic of Ghana,
Salary & Pension
Notice is hereby given that Salaries and Wages of Civil Servants for the month of April 2013 will be paid by the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department on Wednesday, April 24.
The various banks will start crediting individual accounts from the date indicated above. Any change in the above date will be communicated to all stakeholders.
